The only thing that's more important than who you are today, is who you're becoming tomorrow. If you're not careful, you can start to think that your biggest problem is where you are. Your biggest problem is not where you are, your biggest problem is where you are going.
As we fix our focus on the future, we can easily discover we have some gaps along the way. Gaps in team, gaps in resources, and gaps in our personal leadership journey. Instead of letting the gaps depress me, the gaps drive me to be grateful for where I am today. If I'm growing, I'm grateful!
The key to happiness is simply one word – progress.
I've come to find gratitude is one of the keys to longevity in leadership and life. It's not just about what I say, bur rather what I think. My gratitude guides my thoughts! Here's three core beliefs leaders can adapt to grow their gratitude.
I. Gratitude Creates Gateways
As I become grateful, I become humble.
II. Humility Matters
Humility is not thinking less of myself. Humility is thinking about myself less.
III. Joy is a Choice
Work is a joy; I find purpose here.
